• Alignment with the values, vision and mission of the organization
• A degree in rural development, development studies, social science or a relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience working with NGOs on WASH and nutrition activities
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in basic health care, hygiene, CLTS, nutrition, breastfeeding, proper infant/child feeding practices and rural water supply
• Good knowledge in sustainable CBOs’ governance and operation support through capacity building, and coaching and mentoring activities
• Experience working with government agencies at national and sub-national level, including local authorities
• Ability to communicate in Khmer and English; knowledge of an indigenous language is an asset
• Ability to write qualitative and quantitative reports
• Ability to travel to and stay remote and rural areas, mainly in indigenous communities
• Good interpersonal skills and results oriented
• Self-commitment to several tasks to work meeting deadlines
• Willing to contribute to effective team work and team building with an ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision in a time pressure and flexible
• Good personality and respect of work ethic including integrity, dynamic and compliance
• Knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook – literacy in computer maintenance is an asset
• Strong desire to learn and commit to his/her further development
• Creative and ready to develop and experience innovation approaches
• No history of child abuse, harassment, corruption or fraud
